Guam - The Guam Environmental Protection Agency will be closed this Friday between noon and 5:00pm to participate in team-building activities. If you are in need of assistance from the agency on this day, you are urged to make arrangements to make an appointment or stop by the agency prior to the closure.

“Guam EPA continues to hold educational and morale-building activities which are in line with our goals of camaraderie, staff development and retention,” said Administrator Eric M. Palacios. “In addition, we will honor all Guam EPA MagPRO nominees and winners and reflect on the agency winning this year's ‘Medium Department/Agency of the Year' award.”

“I am extremely proud of Team GEPA, and of what each of our employees accomplishes on a daily basis. This award is a testament to their selfless commitment to keeping our community and environment safe and healthy,” Deputy Administrator Yvette LG Cruz added.

Special mention is also necessary for Ms. Annie Leon Guerrero and Mr. Karl Olson, ‘Supervisor of the Year' and ‘Employee of the Year' award recipients, respectively. Guam EPA's team building events include physical activities that are in line with the government's health and wellness program and initiatives.
