Guam - The Port Authority of Guam's board met on Friday afternoon, passing its Fiscal Year 2015 budget proposal.  The budget comes out at $36.3 million - close to $1 million less than the approved FY2014 budget.

Board vice chairwoman Christine Baleto said, "Some of our concerns, we feel that management has sufficiently justified all the expenditures and we put together a very conservative budget that meets the needs of the port but protects all our revenue and assets, so it is our recommendation that this budget be approved."

The board further authorized general manager Joanne Brown to move funds within a division if there happens to be any shortfalls.
