Guam - Progress is being made with renovations at the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority's main office. If you pass by the agency's office you can clearly see that the façade has already been demolished.

Director Michael Duenas said, "The work is expected to be finished by the end of December at this point we have slipped about a week but the contractor is looking at ways to catch up."

Duenas says in two to three weeks the section eight staff will be shifted from the southern end to the northern end of the building as the renovations to that portion of the building will be complete. Renovations will then begin on the southern end of the building which includes the director's office, and conference room. According to Duenas, the renovations will also include an expansion of the lobby area and installation of an elevator.
