Guam - L&L Hawaiian Barbecue plans to open a pair of restaurants here on Guam. President and CEO Eddie Flores Jr. says the Honolulu-based company has restaurants throughout the world, including Hawaii, the mainland and Japan.

The first restaurant will open next month, and the second one will open in April. Both will be in shopping centers.

The chain recently opened a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, where people stood in line for an hour on opening day and cheered when their food was served.
