Guam - An argument over disconnected power turned violent in Piti Monday afternoon leading to the arrest of 43-year-old Lunetta Ruth Tainatongo.

Police spokesperson Officer Paul Tapao reports officers responded to the residence where Tainatongo reportedly got into an argument with her mother and began throwing kitchen items around before she locked herself in a room. After family pried the door open, an officer approached Tainatongo where she allegedly struck him in the face and chest with a wooden container. In his attempt to arrest her, she bit his arm. The officer used pepper spray to secure her and place her under arrest. She was booked and confined for criminal trespass, family violence, assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest.
