KUAM News has confirmed an officer with the Guam Police Department was arrested earlier this evening. Officer Paul Santos was booked and confined on charges of criminal sexual conduct, abetting prostitution and official misconduct.

Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia could not provide any information on the arrest at this time. He says a press conference will be held Thursday morning at the Guam Attorney General's office.

Earlier this evening the AG's office issued a press release that it would be holding a press conference at 9:00am Thursday about a joint investigation with the FBI regarding a police officer.

KUAM News spoke with Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas this evening and would only confirm that officer Santos' arrest is related to tomorrow's press conference. He would not release any other information at this time.
