Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority is being targeted by copper wire thieves. According to GWA spokesperson Heidi Ballendorf the latest heist cost the agency $20,000 in replacement not to mention the inconvenience of fixing the damaged sites. GWA is asking the public if they see cars or individuals that are not GWA employees at any of their locations to please contact the police. They are also asking the community that should they see any individuals with copper wire at a house or in a car to please turn them into GPD. You can also call Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
