Guam - The Guam Election Commission is meeting this evening to discuss the final details for this Saturday's primary election. In the meantime, while executive director Maria Pangelinan has already responded to oversight chair Senator Rory Respicio's concerns, she assures the voting public that GEC has policies in place to secure the ballots.

"When it gets here the ballots are locked up, there are only two keys- one for the project person and one for myself and we're the only ones with the keys so as far as ballots, the sanctity of ballots we're doing everything to ensure everything is documented and we have a good inventory of accounting the number of ballots and the plate," she said.

Meanwhile it was earlier this week when Pangelinan met with the University of Guam to ensure there are no problems with the election return center at the Field House. She adds a test election with the new tabulation machines will be held there this Friday at 6:30pm.
