Guam - A new partnership may be underway as Guam Memorial Hospital's administrator Joseph Verga recently took a trip to St. Luke's Hospital in the Philippines in hopes of expanding the specialty services offered at the hospital. "What we are looking to do is to partner with St. Luke's and others as well develop strategic partnerships and alliances as well that would bring more resources to Guam," he said.

According to Verga those services will include educational programs and the possibility of having specialists that we don't have access to such as a rheumatologist rotate on a consulting basis. Verga says representatives from St. Luke's will be coming to Guam in the weeks ahead and he hopes that while they are here they will be able to sign a memorandum of understanding.
