Guam - It's been over seven years since a seminar has been conducted on Guam and come this September, the Equal Employment Opportunity will be back to host the Guam technical assistance program seminar for both private and public employer representatives.

Guam Department of Labor Fair Employment Practice Investigator Alan Wang says the seminar will provide updates and guidance on the EEO law, noting, "It's to smooth the relation between the employer and the employee. Because we can have more people understand the equal employment opportunity and they can try to reduce the dispute."

He adds the event is designed to show you professionals how to investigate EEO cases the way the feds do by meeting the officials who enforce the laws. Early registration started this week and ends on August 11. The event is scheduled for September 10 at the Pacific Star Hotel.
