Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo put pen to paper signing more bills into public law. Today he signed Bills 317, 318, and 319 all introduced by Senator Tommy Morrison related to internet crime. Bill 317 known as The Anti-Phishing Act would punish people who use deceptive means to steal bank account numbers, Social Security numbers and passwords through the internet. Senator Tom Ada's Bill 355 was also signed into law. The measure condemns property in Merizo and authorizes the Department of Public Works to acquire land for the Pigua Construction Project. Governor Eddie Calvo meanwhile has yet to take action on the minimum wage bill passed last week.
