Guam - Weigh-ins for tomorrow night's PXC 44 were held at the P.I.C Amphitheater this morning. 10 fights are scheduled to take place at the U.O.G Field House with the main event of the night being the 170-pound championship fight between Josh Calvo and Zebaztian Kademstam. The night will get underway with an amateur bout between Jeff Mesa and Robin Eclavea. Mesa weighed I at 145-pounds, Eclavea weighed in at 145-pounds as well.
Mklane Alfred and Saipan's Mark Nuique will meet up in the 125-pound weight class. Alfred a striker from Underworld X-treme Guahan Top Team came in at 126-pounds. His opponent Mark Nuique from Saipan has a dangerous clinch game and came in much heavier at 132-pounds.
Eric Michael Fought a brown belt in jiu-jitsu trains out of Japan he takes on Korean Top Team Fighter Han Seul Kim. Fought weighed in at 168-pounds. Kim a fighter known as "Baby Lim" steps into the cage with an aggressive fighting style, he weighed in at 170.5 pounds.
Filipino fighter Crisanto Pitpitunge fights in Guam for the first time and is dropping down a weight class. Pitpitunge stepped onto the cage weighing in at 126-pounds. Facing the fighter from the Philippines will be Saipan's Josh Duenas. Duenas is coming off a loss from Mklane Alfred by decision and looks to get back on track in this weight class, he weighed in at 125-pounds.
Kyle Boom Reyes will be looking to climb up the ranks in the 145-pound division when he steps into the cage against Filipino Fighter Josh Sapinoso. Reyes has shown knockout power and will be facing the training partner of Rolando Dy, the opponent he lost to in the Philippines. Josh Sapinoso is a well decorated wrestler and is a BJJ Gold Medalist. Reyes weighed in at 145-pounds, Sapinoso 144-pounds.
Yasuke Yachi and Ryan Mulvihill will scrap it out in the 145-pound division. Yachi is coming off a decision win against Kyle Reyes in PXC 42 and stepped onto the scale weighing 144-pounds. Mulvihill comes into the fight with wins over Harris Sarmiento and Toby Misech. He weighed in at 145-pounds.
In the women's straw-weight division Japan's Tomo Maesawa takes on Washington's Cortney Casey. Maesawa has a 3 fight win streak coming into the fight and weighed in at 111-pounds. Casey a submission specialist is dropping down to the division after fighter at a much heavier weight class, she weighed in at 115-pounds.
Spike 22's Kyle Aguon faces Troy Bantiag from the Philippines in the 135-pound weight class. Bantiag fights out of Team Lakay and is a striker with a solid ground game, he stepped onto the scale weighing in at 135-pounds. Kyle Aguon will look to keep his title dreams alive with a win over Bantiag. Kyle is Guam's top Bantamweight fighter who has very strong wrestling and great cardio. He comes into the fight weighing in at 135-pounds.
