Guam - The Department of Public Health reports an outbreak of conjunctivitis or pink eye. Since the outbreak began last month, health care providers have reported a total of 248 cases. Matter of fact in the week ending May 24th there were 110 cases of pink eye reported.

All ages are being affected with the youngest patient being less than one month and the oldest being 82. The best way to prevent conjunctivitis is to always practice good personal hygiene, especially frequently washing your hands and avoid rubbing your eyes.
