EMT Awards recognize outstanding emergency response personnel

Guam - In recognition of the service and dedication that emergency medical service professionals provide within our community a ceremony was held at Pacific Star to honor several outstanding personnel such as Guam Fire Department Emergency Medical Dispatcher of the Year Joycelene Chaco.

Also recognized were Emergency Medical Transporter of the Year Robert Sablan, Advanced EMT of the Year Kevin San Nicolas of GFD along with Anderson Fire Department's Eric Masur, Anderson Medical Clinic's Kurt Locke, Guam Naval Base Fire Department's Zachary Babauta,  Access Medical Transport's Ronald Bustamante, St. Joseph Medical Transport's Dereck Reyes, and Guam Medical Transport's Brandon Villarta.

    Joint Region Marianas hosted the 6th Annual Programmatic Agreement Workshop on Thursday, at the Sen. Antonio M. Palomo Guam Museum and Education Facility. Collaboration and partnership among stakeholders and signatories were the common themes of the workshop. During the day-long event, the Navy team provided presentations on the progress made over the last year in a variety of significant areas.
