Sindalu wins Women's Football League title

Guam - The Women's Football League had its championship game from the U.O.G Field. In the first of 2 games played last Saturday, the Lady Falcons took on the Ruff Ryderz in the Inspire Bowl for 3rd place. Kasara Salas with the run for the Falcons. Salas would score twice on runs. Irish Iriarte pulls in the touchdown reception here to put the Falcons up early. The Ruff Ryderz would answer on their next possession as running back Cami Perez takes the run to the outside and turns on the speed to out run the defense for the touchdown run. The Ruff Ryderz would end up taking the game 24-20 for the Inspire Bowl title, Jessica "The Beast" Taitague goes in here for the 2-point conversion.

The Stunnerz and Sindalu hit the field next for the league title. Both teams met earlier in the season with the Stunnerz winning in over time. This time around it was a different story as Sindalu's defense was all over the field making plays. Three straight offensive possessions for the Stunerz resulted in 2 defensive touchdowns and a fumble recovery for Sindalu. Despite Sindalu's offense unable to put points on the board the game was won by their defense as they went on to claim this year's championship title 13-8 over the Stunnerz.
