True Buddha School leader on Guam

Guam - With over 5 million followers around the world the leader of the True Buddha School, Grand Master Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu, is on Guam. He arrived over the weekend and met with the governor this morning. He is also scheduled to celebrate his 70th birthday on island.

"He's 70 so happy because when people get to 70 they worry a lot for him grand master he's he has not had those kind of signs with his body he's just become natural no worry at all he's doing a lot of exercise, two hours a day, he's doing horizontal bar, gymnastic rings, he do situps 50 times everyday, 200 pushups everyday, so two hours of exercise," said an interpreter.

There are over 300 True Buddha School chapters around the world. Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu has also written over 200 books in Chinese on several topics such as tantric Buddhism, Zen Buddhism and Taoism. He is scheduled to leave Guam on Thursday.
