Guam - 400 of our island's youth were treated to a special presentation at The Hyatt by Disney's Animal Kingdom. With a long history of conservation efforts around the world Disney Animal Kingdom veterinarian Deadra Fontano is hoping to reach our youth, saying, "Particularly our involvement here on Guam is to not only to work with science and conservation with the Department of Aquatic Wildlife and Resources with the koko and sea hack, but also to talk to the kids education and outreach."

Fontano says their mission is to educate the children about our unique island our forestry and the importance of our birds teaching them how they can protect our islands birds and develop careers that can aid in that protection. The children were treated to a special presentation as well as fun, games, and an up close look at the birds on display.
