Guam - The Oceania Olympics Committees Annual General Assembly and Workshops is being held at the Leo Palace Resort. Also known as O.N.O.C the organization is one of five Continental Olympic Bodies that look after the interests of the 17 member nations from the Pacific Regions including Australia and New Zealand. 150 members are on island to share their knowledge and experience in the sports world on behalf of their federations. This is a great opportunity for the island to promote our facilities as a future sport training destination for countries preparing for the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Guam would like to promote sport at home and in the region by developing regional training centers where our athletes and athletes from this region can train and gain knowledge on sport injury prevention, nutrition and sport psychology training. As well as, train Guam's local coaches and technical officials to achieve higher level coaching and technical officiating certificates.
