Cameron appointed as regional board president

Guam - Guam’s own Joseph Artero-Cameron has been selected by the Pacific Island Museums Board of Directors as its new President. PIMA’s members include close to 50 museums and cultural centres in the Pacific as well as non-profit organizations, corporate members and indivdiduals who support the vision, aims and activities of the organization.  Cameron is the President of the Department of Chamorro Affairs,  President of the Guam Museum and is a member of the Guam Museum Foundation. On his appointment as President of Pima, Cameron says he welcomes the role with an endless passion and commitment to elevation the association with a window of opportunity to address myriads of disciplines and renewed synergy in  museumology. His appointment is for three years.
