Guam - Superior Court senior probation officer Anthony Morcilla may have been set to go to trial next month, but at his pre-trial today, the court noted there could be delays due to more assertions of trials in the last few weeks.

Also at today's hearing, defense attorney Curtis Van De Veld states the court relieved Morcilla from third party custodians and house arrest. This is because his client has been cooperative for over a year.

As we've been reporting, Morcilla is charged with the death of his two-year-old daughter accused of leaving her in the car for seven hours while he was at work. His trial is slated for May 7.
