Guam - The guam highway patrol division has launched an investigation following a head on collision on Rt. 8 by Fidelity international Sunday afternoon.
According to guam police department spokesperson officer AJ Balajadia, the female operator of a 2012 frontier was heading eastbound on the inner lane when she was stuck by a 2000 Toyota Camry traveling west on the outer lane.
The male operating the Camry passed just after 5 pm while the woman remains in stable condition at the guam memorial hospital.
This marks the islands 9th traffic related fatality of the year.
