Fatal crash on Route 16

Guam - An auto/pedestrian crash along Rt. 16 results in the island's eighth traffic related fatality for 2014.  According to guam police department spokesperson officer Aj Balajadia, guam highway patrol responded to the crash just aftermidnight Wednesday morning where a 2006, Silver, Nissan Frontier collided with a male pedestrian whom was standing on their lane of travel. 

The pedestrian, possibly chuukese, was transported to the guam memorial hospital and pronounced dead before 1 a.m. The case remains under investigation.
