Accused drug pusher pleads not guilty

Guam - Accused of supplying drugs from Nevada to Guam, Francisco Arias pleaded not guilty in federal court this morning. He is one of 12 people accused in a major drug distribution ring. Arias along with Eder Cortez-Zelaya are the two accused of supplying crystal meth to their co-conspirators in Guam. The federal judge set jury selection and trial for June 12, additionally a Spanish interpreter is needed for all his court proceedings. As for Cortez-Zelaya he was released in Las Vegas but claims he doesn't have the money to travel to Guam. He is scheduled to appear via video-conference for his initial appearance and arraignment this Friday.
