by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - Following the recent return of 31 254th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Airmen from Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar the Guam Air National Guard has received an alert order for a team of Airmen to deploy later this year in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

According a media release Airmen from the SFS will be deployed to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia with the mission to provide base defense and area operations.

"Our Airmen have always performed at a high level and as they prepare to answer the call once again, I have no doubt they will be ready," said Major General Benny M. Paulino, The Adjutant General for the Guam National Guard. "As we've done in the past, we seek the continued support of our community and our employers. But I also want to thank them for the tremendous support they have already given us over the years," he added.
