Guam - The Tiyan Parkway Project is moving forward with construction of Phase one schedule to commence on April 1st. Just today the Guam International Airport Authority sent a formal request to the Federal Aviation Administration to release over 15 acres of airport property to the Department of Public Works for phase one's construction. According to Adelup the FAA has already prepared the 30-day notice that will be published in the Federal Register upon final review of GIAA's request. The official transfer will happen after that. In order to expedite the project, in the interim the airport and DPW will be signing a temporary construction easement to allow DPW to start the construction on April 1st.  The Tiyan Parkway project extends from the former GPD records building to Cars Plus in Maite along Route 8. Almost 20-thousand motorists travel through Tiyan daily.
