Guam - Cockfighting at the Agana Heights Mayors Office has stopped temporarily until organizers obtain the necessary permits to host the weekly events. As we reported concerns were raised about the trash and dead chickens that were left at the mayor's office last week. Organizers, who are raising money for baseball teams and the Little League World Series, were under the impression that they did not need a permit, only the mayor's permission. Mayors office staff confirm that the cockfights have stopped and organizers have submitted a request to host the events twice a week through august as a fundraising effort.
