Guam - A 22-year-old man was picked up by the cops accused of raping a woman in the jungle area off Route 3 in the Dededo area. The alleged rape occurred last week Monday. According to court documents at around 8:30 that night a 28-year-old woman had been drinking with her friend at a home in the Dollar Housing area. The two left the house and walked to White Market.

While there the two got into a minor argument and parted ways. The victim proceeded to Astumbo Community Center to use the restroom, while there she noticed her friend's uncle, Sioram Chen, walking toward her.  She asked him for directions back to White Store. Chen agreed to show her the way, but instead as the two were walking he suddenly grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into the dark jungle area. The victim tried to fight back and scream for help but Chen allegedly told her that if she didn't stop he would kill her.

He began choking the woman who almost lost consciousness. According to the victim he raped her for about ten minutes until he ejaculated inside her.  After the ordeal he took her to the NCS Market to get water. When Chen returned from inside the store the victim began yelling for help. Chen immediately walked away while the victim ran inside and called the police.

GPD found the suspect a day later in the Dollar Housing area. Chen faces multiple counts of 1st and 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct.

It's a $750 wedding ring, but its significance and meaning, priceless. While Ray Charles Tedtaotao Camacho is serving life behind bars, the government argues he's not being held fully accountable for his crimes. Five years ago, Camacho kidnapped and raped Monique Baza after she made a quick run to the bakery for bread. Though it's a minimal amount for the ring that was never recovered, defense has motioned to waive restitution.  The government, in its response this week, argued ...More >>
