Warriors outlast tough Knights defense

Guam - The Pepsi Warriors improved their record to 2-0 after beating the DLX Knights 20-6 last Sunday. The defending champions gave up an early touchdown on the Knights first drive but played shut down defense for the rest of the game. Defensively the Warriors forced numerous turnovers and picked off the Knights quarterbacks 4 times. Pepsi's front 7 allowed their secondary to roam the field and make plays while applying pressure. Stephen Santos A.K.A Juice led the secondary for the Warriors with 2 interceptions, teammates Chris Santos and Justin Andre both had a pick each. Justin Andre showing his coverage skills here dropping back and pulling in the pick for the turnover. This Friday the Rams will play the Knights at 7:00 pm at Hal Shiroma Field.
