Guam - It was a day filled with activities as island residents and youth filled the University of Guam courtyard in celebration of the schools charter, some like Heather Wolff and her children experiencing Charter Day for the first time.
"Teaching my kids about all the different things of their culture that they didn't learn in the States," she said of the experience.
A celebration of culture and academics UOG president Robert Underwood says Charter Day is the best day for the university. "A time for a lot of fun at the same time they are learning about all the programs at the university whether it is ROTC, nursing whether it be education."
