Guam - The Secure Our Schools Act may be moving forward, but until cameras are on campuses, schools continue to be vulnerable to breakins.
Just this morning, a burglary was reported at Talofofo Elementary School.
DOE facilities and maintenance manager Billy Cruz says the counselors office was hit, with personal items stolen.
Meanwhile, assessments are anticipated to finalize this week for high risk areas as part of the Secure Our Schools Act.
The measure provides over a million in funding for security up to seven years for the island's public schools.
