Guam - The Guam Visitors Bureau is setting the mood for love with a fireworks display tonight. GVB spokesperson Josh Tyquiengco says this is part of GVB's launch of the #GuamLove campaign.

"If you're on a date tonight, if you're with your family, or you're just hanging out with friends, we encourage people to come down to Tumon and celebrate the love with us. It's going to be at 9pm. It will be launched off Matapang Beach or Ypao Beach, depending on the water conditions," he explained.

Fireworks displays will also take place at the same time every Saturday for the next three weekends.

In addition, an official lighting ceremony for the Guam Love Light Park is set for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The park is located across The Hyatt and next to the Tumon Sands Plaza.

Residents are encouraged to #GuamLove for chances to win staycation packages, movie tickets and more.
