Guam - Members of the Peace Officer Standards Commission met today. The group, comprised of representatives from various public safety agencies, has been revising the commission's rules and regulations.
Part of the discussion today focused on the different categories of peace officers and the pre-employment qualifications for all applicants.
Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio sat in on today's discussions and provided input on the draft rules and regulations.
The POST Commission was created to establish and set minimum standards for training, hiring, ethical conduct and retention of peace officers in the territory.
Another meeting will be held next Thursday.
