Man apprehended after escaping from Agat precinct

Guam - Benjamin Recanor was apprehended by Criminal Strike Force members on Wednesday night. Recanor escaped from police custody at the Agat precinct on Wednesday afternoon. He was picked up for burglary and a warrant of arrest.

Police searched the nearby area as well as Oceanview Middle School that had to be placed on lockdown as a result. Police are investigating how Recanor managed to escape.
