Dededo man arrested for EconoMart robbery

Guam - A Dededo man was arrested in connection with last week's armed robbery at EconoMart. Jeremy James Laitan Cruz, 28 of Dededo, was picked up by police. He was charged with 2nd degree robbery, guilt established by complicity, theft of property, terrorizing and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.

Last Thursday, Cruz allegedly entered the Dededo mom and pop store at gunpoint and ran away. He was placed behind bars.

    Dozens of government workers and community volunteers scoured the island picking up trash. It happened at various locations this past Saturday. The cleanup was part of the 4th quarter Island wide beautification day. The agreement also states bus drivers will see a 14% increase in wages over three years.
