Makers of Anchor dairy products donate to GCC

by Krystal Paco

Guam - The largest dairy exporter in the world donates $10,000 to the Guam Community College for five culinary arts students.

The donation, which was presented this morning, was made by Fonterra, the makers of Anchor dairy products, through Micronesian Brokers, Inc. and in cooperation with the Micronesian Chef's Association.

MBI vice president Mike Brown said, "It's really so heartening for us to have principles like Fonterra come and help the local community, not just help themselves to it."

The five recipients of $2,000 each are Phillip Callos, Grace Enriquez, Joshua Mondia, Elyza Santos, and Felicia Thomson.
