Guam - Three men charged in connection with the rape of a 24-year-old woman at Lencho Park in Dededo appeared in the Superior Court of Guam this morning. The court ordered a psychiatric evaluation of Jose Longa while Minorichy Rugante waived his right to a speedy trial.
Francis Madeus will answer to the criminal charges during an arraignment that will be held on Thursday.
Madeus and Rugante are accused of beating and raping the victim in an open area in Dededo, while Longa allegedly held her down. Police are still looking for a 12-year-old boy and an unidentified man who were also involved in the sexual assault.
A further proceedings hearing is set for March 12.
