Guam - 29 police reservists celebrated on Saturday night as they completed the Guam Police Department's 16th Civilian Volunteer Police Reserve Cycle.
Volunteer services commander and head cadre Sergeant Liz Flickinger says the reservists underwent 32 weeks of training and have been assigned to patrol to augment manpower around the island. The individuals will now participate in 250 hours of on the job training before they will receive stipends. Flickinger says background checks and training and curriculum is already being prepared for the 17th CVPR cycle that will begin in February.
