Man arrested for hit-and-run

Guam - A 35-year-old Toto man was arrested on Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that was reported in Sinajana.  Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says just before 9pm, a woman reported that while driving on Route 4, a man driving a blue Toyota Corolla failed to yield and struck the woman's vehicle and fled. 

The woman later found the suspect vehicle and police arrested Kelly Deitas on charges of Leaving the Scene with Damage to Attended Property,  DUI, Reckless Driving,  No driver's license, expired registration, expired insurance and unrestrained child for a young minor who was sleeping in the back seat. Deitas was arrested and placed behind bars. 

His first DUI arrest was back in 1997.
