Guam - A high surf advisory is currently in effect for Guam until six o'clock in the morning Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service the high surf advisory is for north facing reefs. Surf will be hazardous at 7 to 9 feet today and surf will rise further to 8 to 10 feet before falling back to 7 to 9 feet Tuesday and Tuesday night. NWS advises beach goers to avoid venturing near exposed beaches and reefs, especially along north facing reefs as rip currents will be life threatening.
