Guam - More of Guam's deployed soldiers are heading home. The Guam Army National Guard has confirmed that about 230 additional members of the 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment are scheduled to arrive on Guam Monday afternoon. Close to 300 soldiers from the same unit arrived last weekend. The unit was deployed last March to Afghanistan.

The 200 soldiers will be arriving at the Guam International Airport Authority's South Ramp Apron near the United Airlines Terminal at around 12:45pm. Canopies designated by the Soldier's unit will be set up for families to wait.

For information on the arrival, to find out if your Soldier is on that plane or what unit they are attached to, the public may contact the Battalion's Rear Detachment at 735-4661.
