Guam - They're a non-profit organization famous for helping our island's young girls, but now they need the community's help.
Island Girl Power program director Juanita Blaz says on Sunday morning, between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30, their fence was cut open and their 8x5 trailer stolen.
"If anybody saw something at our facility please we encourage you to get a hold of us or the police department because theft is happening around the community and we really want to do all the wonderful programs that we have planned," she said.
Blaz says the trailer was used for environmental projects as well as collecting donations such as books to be donated to other Micronesia islands.
Most recently, the Dededo facility has expanded to include four buildings and will open a thrift store in march as well as a family enrichment center and community gardens.
