Less than half of agencies compliant with reporting

by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - A little less than half of all GovGuam agencies are in compliance with public law mandating they submit reports regarding their performance to the Office of Public Accountability. These reports are called Citizen Centric Reports. They are meant to provide the community with updated, meaningful and understandable information about how they're running their operations including how they perform financially. While several agencies were found to be in full and partial compliance the Association of Government Accountants recognized three agencies for best citizen centric reporting. GPA received the Platinum Award, UOG received the Gold Award while the Guam Community College received a bronze award.
