Guam - The Guam International Airport Authority has determined that there are no environmental issues with airport property that were turned over for the Tiyan parkway and easement. During a meeting this afternoon, the board was advised of the notice. As we reported a memorandum of understanding has been signed and the first phase of the parkway is set to begin. Meanwhile on Tuesday the airport will have a ceremony as the former fire and police headquarters in Tiyan will be demolished - the first physical sign of progress of the parkway.
