Guam - Two federal search warrants were executed today by agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Guam Police Department's Special Investigation Section. Raids were conducted at The Smoke Shop in Tamuning and Gallop USA in the Micronesia Mall in Dededo.

Agents were seen sorting through various merchandise in the store and KUAM News has learned that authorities confiscated a large quantity of Spice, which is considered a synthetic drug form of marijuana and illegal on Guam. Federal agents were seen carrying boxes of evidence out of the two locations and several people were questioned in connection with the discovery.

Authorities also seized an estimated $100,000 at Gallop USA.

The case remains under investigation but police do confirm that this was a multi-jurisdictional operation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, GPD, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Air Force Office of Special Investigation, the U.S. Postal Service and the Department of Revenue & Taxation.
