Guam - Just in time for Christmas, Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas announced just after 4pm Tuesday, he signed off on the purchase agreement that allows the Government of Guam to buy the buildings in Tiyan to convert into a central high school. According to the AG, the scope and complexity of the multimillion-dollar property agreement required an in-depth review by multiple assistant attorneys general and the cooperation of certain agencies under the Calvo Administration to provide additional information and documentation to his agency.
He emphasized that due diligence review under such circumstances should not be rushed, adding this resulted in some revisions in order for these agreements to be approved as to form and legality.
The contract was forwarded to the Governor's Office.
