Guam - Senator Brant McCreadie and Healthcare Committee chair Senator Dennis Rodriguez Jr. presented a resolution to the delegation from the Guam Medical Association and island journalists who were part of the recent medical mission to the Philippines. After the November super typhoon a team from the Guam Medical Association and the St Luke's Medical Center conducted a joint medical mission to the Northern Cebu. In three days and in three cities a total of 3,000 storm victims were provided medical attention. Today's resolution presentation recognized them for their humanitarianism. GMA and St Luke's meanwhile have planned a second mission to the Philippines in January. During that mission they will be providing aid to residents in Tacloban, often described as Ground Zero.
