by Mindy Aguon

Guam -  A moped operator sustained serious injuries when he collided with a car on Route 16 in Barrigada. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero says medics responded to the scene after getting the call just before 6:30 Wednesday night.

Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A J Balajadia says a woman driving a gold 2006 Subaru Tribeca attempted to make a left turn off Route 16 onto Pangelinan Way when she collided with a man driving the 2009 Yamaha moped who was traveling south toward the Barrigada post office.

GPD's Highway Patrol was called to investigate the crash.
