Job fair held for service members

Guam - It was a successful job fair event for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Agency which hosts employment events under their Employment Initiative Program. Employment transition coordinator Cathy Gogue. "The job fair was for service members, families and spouses to connect them with employers we have close to 25 employers and about 200 to 250 service member veterans and spouses coming through the job fair looking for jobs that we have available on Guam," she said.

Gogue says job fairs such as this are in support of the Hero-To-Hired campaign and the Keep Your Guard Up campaign. More job fairs will be conducted in the New Year as well as other workshops that will help service member use their military skills and training to find meaningful careers in both the public and private sector.
