Guam - Sanctuary won't have to close its doors just yet as the Guam Behavioral Health Center has agreed to pay a portion of the invoices that haven't been paid.
As we reported the organization faced the threat of closure due to lack of payment from the government. There is some dispute over the cost of the services that have been provided but sanctuary officials confirm that they were assured that they would receive partial payment for what is owed.
The organization meanwhile also had a delayed payday on Thursday. Checks for the employees and Americorps volunteers went out today.
Sanctuary and the Guam Behavioral Health Center are set to meet to iron out the billing concerns next Wednesday.
