by Mindy Aguon

Guam - A woman and her minor son were transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital after she lost control of her car and slammed into a concrete pole.  Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the woman was driving a 2008 silver Nissan Altima on Mendioka Street when she crashed.

The male minor was in the front passenger seat and was injured.  Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero confirms that one patient was being given CPR en route to the hospital.  No other details were available.

GPD's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
